Born in southwestern France in 1956 and raised on a farm, Alain Ducasse developed a passion for cooking at a very young age, drawing inspiration from local produce and the rhythm of the seasons.
Apprenticed under legendary chefs Michel Guérard and Gaston Lenôtre, he quickly established himself as a leading figure in French gastronomy. In 2005, he made history by becoming the first chef to hold three Michelin stars in three different restaurants. Today, he boasts a total of 18 Michelin stars, making him one of the most decorated chefs in the world.
